Kashmir minister's house bombed in Srinagar


Srinagar, Aug 2 (IANS): Separatists attacked the house of Jammu and Kashmir Education Minister Naeem Akhtar with two petrol bombs here late on Monday but no one was hurt, police said on Tuesday.

The attack took place in Parray Pora area. "The bombs exploded without causing any damage, one in the lawn and the other outside the compound wall," a police officer said.

The minister is presently living in a government accommodation in the high security Gupkar Road in Srinagar.
