Thai man held for drug trafficking


Phnom Penh, Aug 3 (IANS): A Thai national was arrested in Cambodia's capital Phnom Penh for trafficking nearly 20 kg of drugs, police said on Wednesday.

Chaiyapong Phisaiphan, 52, was arrested in Sen Sok district on Monday while transporting the drugs, Xinhua news agency reported.

The confiscated drugs included nine kg of crystal methamphetamine, 0.66 kg of heroin, and 52,000 methamphetamine pills.
