New Delhi, Aug 4 (IANS): It was a sunny Thursday morning with minimum temperature settling at 28.5 degree Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
According to the weather office, at 8.30 a.m., humidity was 76 per cent and the rainfall in the past 24 hours remained nill.
"There will be a generally cloudy sky with light rains/drizzle likely to occur in different parts of the city," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The day is expected to get warmer as the maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius, the weather office said. Visibility in the morning remained 3,000 metres.
Wednesday's maximum temperature settled at 36.0 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average while the minimum was 26.2 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
