Modi congratulates Rupani, Nitin Patel


New Delhi, Aug 7 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulated Gujarat's new Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel after they took oath in Gandhinagar.

"Congrats to Vijay Rupani, Nitinbhai Patel and others sworn in as they begin their innings to continue the development journey of Gujarat," Modi tweeted.

"I applaud the dedicated service of (outgoing Chief Minister) Anandiben Patel, who has been working tirelessly for the people of Gujarat for many years," he added.
