New Delhi, Aug 9 (IANS): It was a sunny Tuesday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 28 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average.
The Met has forecast light rain or drizzle later during the day.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 36 degrees celsius.
"It was a sunny morning. Generally cloudy sky with light rain or drizzle is likely to occur in some areas in the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department(IMD).
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 81 per cent.
Monday's maximum and minimum temperatures settled at 36.7 and 28.6 degrees Celsius, each two notches above the season's average, respectively.
