New Delhi, Aug 10 (IANS): It was a humid and cloudy Wednesday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
"There will be a generally cloudy sky with light rains or drizzle likely to occur in evening," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
According to the weather office, humidity at 8.30 a.m. varied from 83 per cent to 82 per cent.
The maximum rainfall recorded for the past 24 hours was 0.8 mm at Lodhi road and Palam, 0.4 mm at Ridge area and 0.2 mm at Safdarjung.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius. The visibility remained at 2,000 metres.
The minimum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average while the maximum temperature settled at 35.5 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average.
