Children to showcase entrepreneurial skills at EO conclave

Chennai, Aug 10 (IANS): Fifty children from different parts of the country will participate in a kids conclave on August 12 here to bring out their entrepreneurial talent, said Entrepreneurs' Organisation (EO)-A, a global network of entrepreneurs.

Based on the premise that a hero lurks inside each one of us and just awaits discovery and exploration, the Chennai chapter of Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) is organising a Kids' Conclave aptly titled "Heroism 2016 - Bring out the Hero in You", said a statement issued by EO on Wednesday.

"We are expecting to see young heroes' participation from 14 different EO chapters from across India. This conclave will help our young heroes discover their real potential and hidden traits which are waiting to be recognised, refined and bettered," Navneet Agarwal, Chair for the Kids Conclave, EO Chennai, said in the statement.

The participants will be divided into two categories. The Organisers will comprise 8-12 years old (35 kids) where the youngest hero will set the pace for the camp. They will be given hands-on experiential exposure to activities like photography, creativity and production.

The Innovators will be the 13-16 year olds numbering around 15. They will connect to ideate and create a realistic strategical business plan.

This plan can go on to be nurtured into an actual for profit venture with the right support, the statement said.
