Internet mogul Gurbaksh Chahal gets one year for abuse


Aug 13 (Agencies): Silicon Valley internet mogul Gurbaksh Chahal was sentenced on Friday to twelve months in jail for violating his probation in a domestic violence case. 

He was granted a stay to the sentence, pending an appeal from his attorney. 
Court had found Gurbaksh Chahal guilty in June  after violating his probation by allegedly kicking another girlfriend.  

Gurbaksh Chahal had sold his startup for $300 million when he was 25 and appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show"  as a highly eligible bachelor.
