PSG striker Jese down with appendicitis


Paris, Aug 14 (IANS): Paris Saint Germain's summer signing Jese Rodriguez is diagnosed with appendicitis and would be out for up to three weeks, Spanish media reported on Sunday.

The 23-year-old footballer would be sidelined for a month while Marca said the Spaniard would only be off the pitch for two weeks, Xinhua news agency reported.

The former Real Madrid striker made his debut for Paris on Friday evening in the French giants' 1-0 away win at Bastia in their Ligue 1 season-opener.
