Four of a family commit suicide in Andhra

Vijayawada, Aug 14 (IANS): Four members of a family committed suicide in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool district on Sunday, police said.

Ramprasad, 38, his wife Satyavati, 35, and their children, Vijaykumar, 12, and Shobha Rani, 10, ended their lives by consuming poison near Prathmanandi temple in Nandyal town.

The devotees coming to the temple saw the four lying on the ground and alerted the 108 ambulance service.

Police suspect that financial problems caused the family to end their lives. A police officer said a case has been registered and further investigations are on.
