Udupi, Dec 5: The new initiative of receiving ‘Online loan application’ by the Syndicate Bank has received good response from the borrowers, Deputy General Manager of the Bank’s regional office, Sujeer Prabhakar has said.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Monday, Prabhakar said that more than 100 loan applications had been received in each region after its launch on October 24.

Under the programme, online loan application facility could be availed via www.syndicatebank.in, for availing education, housing, professional and self employment, business and small and medium enterprise loans, he said.

The browser would also be given an option of choice of his branch. The application would be considered at the Regional Office-level and forwarded to the respective branches who in turn approaches the customer.

Under the scheme, loan could be approved within 3 to 4 weeks. Assistant General Manager H Vasanth Nayak and Chief Manager U S Mendon were present at the press meet.
