Wanted an innocent looking guy for 'A Flying Jatt': Remo D'Souza

Mumbai, Aug 21 (IANS): Choreographer-director Remo D'Souza, who is currently busy promoting his film "A Flying Jatt", says he wanted an innocent looking guy for this film and that is why he roped in Tiger Shroff.

"I always wanted Tiger for this film. I spoke to him before 'Heropanti' (Tiger's debut film) and I told him that I have a superhero script and whether he would like to do it," Remo D'Souza told IANS.

“I wanted an innocent looking guy for this film and he is an accidental superhero in this film,” he said.

"A Flying Jatt" also features Jacqueline Fernandez and Nathan Jones.

Remo also says that when you make a superhero film in India, people probably consider it a “nonsense” step.

"When you make something like this, most of the people start saying what nonsense is this but when the same thing gets made in Hollywood they like it. That's the mentality and it has to change. Once that changes, then we can make better films,” he said.

“A Flying Jaat” is releasing on August 25.
