Super cop Annamalai catches 38 persons gambling including policemen

Chikkamagaluru, Aug 22: Superintendent of police (SP) Annamalai and his team raided a club here on Sunday night and caught 38 persons who were gambling there. 4 of them were policemen, it is revealed.

The team headed by Annamalai also seized Rs 45,000 from the gamblers. Annamalai has ordered the suspension of 4 policemen.

Annamalai with his personnel raided the Blue Star club at Hiremagaluru at 7 pm. They found 38 persons busy with gambling which included Yogish, Basavaraju, Poornesh and Lokesh from their own force.

25 vehicles and several mobile phones were also seized with cash.

It is said that many local politicians were also among the gamblers. But names are not yet known.

A case stands registered at rural police station.

Annamalai was recently transferred from Udupi where he was known as an upright and honest officer.

    When ever you travel to a place, even to a place like Himalayan cave, something may be happening there, which can be reported to the local police for their action.

    Great job Sir. Well done. For a sincere officer like Mr. Annamalai wherever he is deputed, his sincerity level will not go down. Because in his blood dedication and sincerity is filled which cannot be removed out by any corrupt politician or businessman or goondas. Sir, we miss you here in Udupi. If you would have been here, Bhaskar Shetty Murder case would have been solved by this time. We pray to almighty god to give you more strength to wipe out corruption, crime and bring peace.     Money earned out of bribe does not have value. They spend it for pleasure in clubs accompanied by sex and alcohol.

    Takers are at fault but givers too are to be blamed but that can't apply because to have a work done, bribe is inevitable.
