Everton negotiates with Porto to sign Yacine Brahimi

London, Aug 23 (IANS): Everton is currently negotiating with Porto for the transfer of Algerian international Yacine Brahimi from the Portuguese football side, UK media reported.

Brahimi, 26, who has rejected a big offer to join the Chinese Super League this summer, was not included in the Porto squad for Wednesday's second leg of the Champions League knockouts against Roma, reports Efe.

The Algerian player scored 21 goals in 77 games with Porto since his arrival from Granada.

If Everton sealed the deal for Brahimi, the Algerian player will become the fifth signing for the English club this season.
