Udupi, Dec 7: “Soushruthi-2007”, a three-day international conference on surgery (Shalya), ENT (Shalakya) and gynaecology (Prasooti tantra) will be organized by Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Ayurveda (SDMCA), Udyavar near here in the college premises from Friday December 14 to Sunday December 16, informed   Dr K R Ramachandra, organizing secretary of the conference.

He was speaking at press conference here on Thursday December 6.

He further said that the conference will be inaugurated by Dr S Prabhakaran, vice-chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. It is organized as part of the golden jubilee celebrations, he added.

Various experts from India and abroad will attend the conference and deliver talk on the several aspects of the three subjects, Dr Ramachandra informed.

On this occasion, Varanasi Dr Gajendra Singh, director, IMS will release a book on Gynaecology written by Dr V N K Usha.

Dr UN Prasad, principal, SDMCA was present at the press conference.
