Paying heavy price for being nationalist: Abhijeet

Mumbai, Aug 27 (IANS): Singer Abhijeet, who was arrested in July and later released on bail, says he is paying a heavy price in the Hindi film industry for being a nationalist.

A Twitter user asked him about the arrest, Abhijeet replied on the micro-blogging site: "Long ago but I never asked any support from anyone, paying a heavy price in Bollywood for being a nationalist since years."

According to some media reports, on Friday the Mumbai police confirmed that the singer was arrested last month after a complaint against him for harassing a woman journalist on Twitter.
