Python causes panic on Agra-Mathura highway

Agra, Aug 29 (IANS): A 12 feet long python caused panic on the Agra-Mathura highway on Monday.

The giant reptile, weighing around 23.5 kg, was finally taken away by a team of wildlife experts.

It took them one hour to rescue the python which had strayed from the Keithm forest. The python was spotted near the Anand Engineering College.

"This is the second time we have rescued such a huge python from the highway in August," said Baiju Raj M.V., Director Conservation Projects at Wildlife SOS.
