NEW DELHI, Aug 31 (PTI) : In a sudden move, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today sacked Social Welfare Minister Sandeep Kumar after receiving an "objectionable" CD allegedly carrying details of some "wrongdoings".
The decision to sack the minister was taken at a high- level meeting attended by top AAP leaders.
"Received 'objectionable' CD of minister Sandeep Kr. AAP stands for propriety in public life. That can't be compromised. Removing him from Cabinet wid immediate effect," Kejriwal tweeted announcing the decision.
Sources said the CD contained some wrongdoings by Kumar and Kejriwal did not approve of it.

Kejriwal's Deputy CM Manish Sisodia defended his government against his charge at a short news conference in which he refused to take any questions from reporters. "We received a CD with objectionable content. Within half an hour of receiving the CD, the minister was sacked," he claimed.
"AAP will not tolerate any allegations of corruption or impropriety... AAP works with a zero tolerance policy. Not just ministers, we have 67 MLAs. We will not tolerate such behaviour from anyone in any position in the party," he added.
Sandeep Kumar is the third minister Kejriwal has dropped since he was voted back to power in 2015.
Earlier, he had dropped Asim Ahmed Khan over allegations of corruption and Jitender Singh Tomar over allegations that he had submitted fake degree certificates.
