Dalmia Medicare forays into healthcare industry


New Delhi, Sep 2 (IANS): Dalmia Medicare, a chain of diagnostic laboratories, announced its foray into the healthcare industry on Friday.

Dalmia Medicare plans to cater to each and every aspect of healthcare such as pharmacies, doctor clinics, small and medium nursing homes, alternative medicine and fitness centres, etc, the firm said.

"The Indian Healthcare industry is growing at an exponential rate but there is still healthcare deficit in the country. DalmiaMedicare is well equipped to cater to the needs of all kinds of consumers, ensuring both accessibility and quality," said Sanjay Dalmia, Chairman of Dalmia Group of Companies, at an event here.

With 32 diagnostic laboratories, Dalmia Medicare will offer both pathology and radiology services at the doorstep.
