AAP accuses Vijay Goel of using clout for tax exemption

New Delhi, Sep 6 (IANS): The AAP on Tuesday accused Union Minister Vijay Goel of using his "post and clout" to get property tax exemption on a heritage building he had bought.

Addressing a press conference here, the Aam Aadmi Party's Delhi convener Dilip Pande accused Goel, the Sports and Youth Affairs Minister, of using his political influence in getting the North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) exempt the heritage building bought by him in Dharampura, Anaar Wali Gali in old Delhi.

He also brandished a notification, which, he claimed, was from the civic body also exempting the building from paying certain charges such as conversion charges and parking charges.
