CBI files charge sheet against Tawde in Dabholkar case

Sep 7 (Agencies): CBI filed a charge sheet against Sanatan Sanstha member Virendra Tawde in Narendra Dabholkar's murder case on Wednesday.

Charges of criminal conspiracy and murder has been levelled against Tawde.

Virendra Singh Tawde, who is associated with Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, was arrested in June in connection with the murder of Govind Pansare.

He has been on the run ever since his name cropped up during NIA investigations in the Goa blast case.

NIA had secured an Interpol Red Corner Notice against him in 2012 but security agencies are yet to track him down.

Dabholkar was shot dead on August 20, 2013 near his home in Pune.
