Vu launches two luxury TV series in India


New Delhi, Sep 13 (IANS): Mumbai-based TV company Vu Technologies on Tuesday launched two new luxury television series in India ahead of the festive season.

The newly launched televisions -- Premium UHD series and the Curve TV -- are priced between Rs 100,000 to Rs. Rs 300,000.

"There are no competing products in the industry with similar features or price points," said Devita Saraf, CEO and Design Head, Vu Technologies in a statement.

Vu's new Premium UHD TV which boasts of pixelight HDR Technology, smart chip with Quad core processor, 4X ultra-high definition and ultra-dimming feature is available in two different sizes of 65-inch and 75-inch.

Another Curve UHD TV comes with 4K Ultra-high definition, A Grade Panel, 4x Quad core CPU and GPU and nScreen features in two different sizes of 55-inch and 65-inch.

"We have had 350 per cent year-on-year growth since 2013 aiming for a turnover of Rs.600 crore in 2016-17. With the launch of our new portfolio and many more in the pipeline, we are confident of achieving that goal within the stipulated time frame," Saraf added.

Vu's UHD 65-inch and 75-inch TVs are priced at Rs 156,000 and Rs 300,000 and are currently available on Flipkart. 

Luxury Curved TV with 55-inch and 65-inch is priced at Rs 100,000 and Rs 180,000. It will be available from the first week of October, the statement added.
