Mangaluru, Sep 16: Former union minister B Janardhana Poojary will perform 'Urulu Seve' at Kudroli Gokarnatheshwara temple, on Sunday September 18 , praying the deity to resolve Cauvery interstate water dispute.
Poojary revealed this in a press meet at press club here on Friday September 16.
Poojary said “Today Tamil Nadu has observed a bandh. In this water dispute several untoward incidents have taken place. Who can prevent and resolve this problem? I feel only God can solve this problem. Hence prayer will be offered to the deity. People from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, Yettinahole activists, Congress party workers and general public also can take part in this Urulu Seve,"
Poojary also said “I thank chief minister (CM) and the state government are coming forward to observe the 'Brahmashri Narayana Guru Jayanthi'. CM should also implement the principles of Narayana Guru. If he does so, his name will be always permanently written in the history,"
Inviting chief minister Siddaramaiah for the 'Urulu Seve', Poojary said “If possible CM Siddaramaiah should come and join this Urulu Seve performed at Gokarnatheshwara temple. This temple is consecrated by Narayana Guru."
When media questioned that, has CM Siddaramaiah asked suggestions from him for resolving the Cauvery water dispute, Poojary said " He is a Hitler and egoistic. Forget about asking me, he does not even ask suggestions from the high command. He thinks he is only a intelligent."
Urulu Seve will be offered at 10. 30 am on September 18 at Gokarnatheshwara temple in city.
