Mangaluru, Sep 19 : “We can achieve fulfillment in life when we indulge in pro-society activities keeping in mind the welfare of society. Krishna J Palemar is a paragon of it,” said Nagaland governor, Padmanabha B Acharya.
He was speaking after inaugurating the 25th anniversary celebration of Land Links, one of the leading real estate and township developers at Derebail, Konchady. He also inaugurated the Green Park 1 and Pinacle A and B on Sunday, September 18.
“Udupi and Mangaluru have made major contributions to the country in social, educational, political and religious spheres. A person or place without concern for society is useless. Humane service is what strengthens India,” he added.
Nitte university chancellor, N Vinay Hedge, who presided over the programme said that Krishna Palemar selling accommodations for Rs 10 lac to Rs 15 lac in the present competitive era shows his concern for people and his administrative excellence.
He suggested an opening of an emergency clinic in the vicinity where 2,000 families resided. Local corporator Rajesh Konchady also spoke on the occasion.
Unforgettable day
Land links organization president and CEO, Krishna J Palemar, welcomed the gathering saying the day is unforgettable for him and his company. “2,000 families are staying in the layout which had taken shape 25 years ago. The organization has initially sold houses for Rs 1.4 lac. We have the satisfaction of providing houses to the common man at affordable prices. The well-being of customers has been the motto of Land links. It has continued the tradition of trust,” he said.

The original owner of the land, Dr U Kumaraswamy, K Gopalakrishna Shenoy, Project engineer Suresh Pai, Structural engineer Ananda Bhat C H, Contractor Krishnaraja Mayya, Project manager Yogish Pai were felicitated by Governor Padmanabha Achayra, president of the programme N Vinay Hegde and Land links president and CEO Krishna J Palemar.
