Kundapur, Sep 21: Manjunath Kulal, who was severely assaulted in Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu during violence relating to Cauvery water dispute, has been discharged from hospital for want of money.

Manjunath was attacked while miscreants targeted vehicles and people belonging to Karnataka on September 11. He had returned to Gangolli, his hometown on September 17 with the protection from police. He immediately got admitted to a private hospital in Kundapur for treatment.

After only 3 days of treatment, on Tuesday September r 20, Manjunath opted to go home without taking the complete treatment because he did not have money to pay for it. He told the hospital people that he will come back in 10 days time for further treatment after arranging money.

Manjunath has a fracture on his shoulder and has severe complications in the ear which needs advanced treatment.

    As we all are Indian we fight each other.we go for jobs one state to another state.because of few people due to this politics the innocent people suffering.On the day in bangalore many busses trucks TN registered are burned.Who knows in that trucks what type of important things were there which is for Karnataka people .may be food may be documents .Now poor people will suffer life long .we need to protest but not damaging or hurting anyone

    Whatever may be the cause..violence is not the solution. India needs a strong legislation dealing with damage of public property. The individuals who indulge in such activities shall be punished under both civil as well as criminal courts. They should be made to compensate the loss. Then and then only people will come to senses.
