UST Global and Deloitte join hands to help clients


Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 21 (IANS): Kerala's biggest IT employer UST Global Inc. and Deloitte on Wednesday announced a strategic tie-up to deliver value, efficiency and economies of scale for clients around the world looking to transform by modernising business and technology systems.

UST Global employs around 4,500 employees in Kerala with 3,000 of them working from the Technopark campus here and the rest at Kochi Infopark campus.

The new combined model will be taken to customers and prospects in the healthcare sector and by 2017 it would reach their clients in retail and telecommunications sectors.

In a statement to the press here, it said the relationship combines Deloitte's deep business domain and industry experience, science-led approach to design, programme management, and enterprise platform expertise with UST's digital and software engineering excellence to deliver solutions at a rapid speed and in a cost-effective manner to customers.

Paul Roma, Chief Analytics Officer, Deloitte LLP, said that combining our collective strengths will further extend our ability to provide very specific industry and domain knowledge and accelerate the delivery of modernisation programmes that drive differentiated outcomes and significant advantages to our clients.

Deloitte provides audit, consulting, tax and advisory services to many of the world's most admired brands, including 80 per cent of the Fortune 500, while California headquartered UST Global is a digital technology services company that provides next generation digital solutions for Global 1000 companies.
