Oracle announces new Cloud service provider programme

San Francisco, Sep 22 (IANS): Enabling customers to speed up success in the Cloud with support from the right partner and platform, Global software and cloud major Oracle has announced the Oracle Cloud Managed Service Provider (MSP) Programme with Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN).

The programme will help companies who are looking to the Cloud to stay competitive and drive data centre transformation by assisting them with internal skillsets and resources needed to manage complex Cloud migrations and ongoing maintenance.

Available to partners with the skills and infrastructure to build, deploy, run and manage both Oracle and non-Oracle workloads, the programme enables OPN members offer a complete managed service solution for workloads running on Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

"The new MSP programme is a win-win for our customers and partners, as it enables us to work in tandem to provide the solutions and services needed to accelerate time to value and success in the Cloud," Sanjay Sinha, vice president, Platform Products, Oracle, said in a statement.
