M'lore: Sugunendrateerta Swamiji to be honoured

Sugunendrateertha Sripada Swamiji will be felicitated on Wednesday December 26 at 5 30 pm at the T V Ramana Pai hall, S Ganesh Rao chairman of the Karavali group of colleges informed media persons here at the press conference.
 
The press conference was organized on behalf of the public felicitation and Horekanike committee. Nagaraja Shetty the former district in-charge minister of Dakshina Kannada and B Ramanath Rai the former minister will both be the chief guests for the day, he informed further.
 
The entry of the ceremony is not restricted to only Hindus rather people from all faiths will be welcome. According to the felicitation committee the motive behind organizing the function is not merely honouring the swamiji but in addition to that trying to infuse the ideals like secularism and religious tolerance. A Horekanike procession will also be taken out on Wednesday, January 16, he delineated.    
 
Sharavu Raghavendra Shastry the managing trustee, Sri Kshetra Sharavu, Y Ramesh Rao the proprietor of Hotel Woodlands, S Satish Rao, secretary of the felicitation committee and Vasudeva Rao the treasurer of the committee were all present at the press meet.
