Samsung Note 7 gives Big B battery charging headache

New Delhi, Sep 30 (IANS): On a day when India's civil aviation regulator lifted the restrictions on the in-flight use of the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone -- but only those purchased after September 15, superstar Amitabh Bachchan posted another grudge against a device that has caused battery explosion fears worldwide.

"T 2395 - I have Samsung Note 7. Battery charge restricted to 60%. When will it allow me to go 100? Mr Samsung please respond! zara jaldi," tweeted Bachchan on Friday, inviting immediate reactions from his fans.

"@SrBachchan sir leave it, may blast even ... several incidence reported," tweeted Vikas Singh.

Amid battery overheating issues, Samsung has recalled nearly 2.5 million Galaxy Note 7 smartphones globally. The phone is yet to come in India.

But for Bachchan, Note 7 is giving him a different kind of headache -- of battery not being charged to its full potential.

Well, wait till Samsung reacts to this or offers Big B another Note 7 device -- made after September 15, of course!
