India 12/0 at lunch after New Zealand score 204 in first innings


Kolkata, Oct 2 (IANS): India were 12 without loss in their second innings at lunch on day three of the second cricket Test at the Eden Gardens here on Sunday.

Murali Vijay (7) and Shikhar Dhawan (4) were at the crease.

Earlier, resuming at 128/7 overnight, New Zealand were all out for 204 in their first innings.

Jeetan Patel (47; 47 b, 9x4) was the top scorer.

For India, Bhuvneshwar Kumar (5/48) and Mohammed Shami (3/70) were the principal wreckers.

India had scored 316 in their first innings.
