Pakistan, India NSAs agree to reduce tension along LoC: Aziz

Islamabad, Oct 3 (PTI): The National Security Advisors of India and Pakistan have spoken over phone and agreed to reduce tensions on the LoC, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said today as tensions soared high between the two nations after India's surgical strikes.

Aziz confirmed that a contact was established between India's NSA Ajit Doval and his Pakistani counterpart Nasir Janjua after recent tension between the two countries on the Line of Control (LoC).

Aziz said they agreed to reduce tensions on LoC. "Pakistan wants to reduce tensions on LoC and focus on Kashmir," Geo News quoted Aziz as saying.

He said that India wants to divert world’s attention from Occupied Kashmir by escalating tensions.

Last week the Indian Army said it had carried out surgical strikes on multiple terrorist launch pads across the Line of Control or LoC in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, inflicting heavy casualties on terrorists waiting to sneak into India.

The surgical strikes came days after Pakistani terrorists had attacked an Army camp in Kashmir's Uri, killing 19 soldiers. Pakistan has denied that the surgical strikes took place on Thursday, calling it "cross-border" firing.

Talking about Sharif's recent US visit, Aziz said that the Prime Minister had explained to the world leaders that incidents of border tensions would continue between both countries without the resolution of Kashmir dispute.

Pakistan and Pakistani army will one day pay a very heavy prize for its brutality and inhuman treatment of the people of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) and that day is very near. Nothing and no man-made equipment will be enough to withstand their fury. Their bottled-up anger will, I am certain will, crush everything that is thrown on its path. Beware Pakistan, your game of deceit is on its final hours.

People of India and Pakistan wanted to live in peace, but some rogue element in army do not want this. Main reason is that Pakistan is not having true democracy when elected PM is to remain faithful to army and not to the people. Such countries are danger to the world.

Pakistan is now afraid of getting cornered Internationally and is already on its way of getting labeled as promoter of Terrorism by the US! Boycott of 4 nations during the Saarc summit is a big blow on this terrorist country! Even though war is not a solution, India is being pushed to act!

Glad that the dark cloud of confrontation in between India and Pakistan will be disappearing. Pakistan's miscalculation to have the solid Chines backing went astray due to the fact that if China is backing Pakistan, China will be faced with the same dose of medicine Russia got from Putin's miscalculated attack on Ukraine thus economically chocked by the western world.

Chinese economy is in serious crisis, yet another bubble bursting of the real estate citadel will be crashing in China which may create $ 3.6 trillion crash. At this critical situation, the Pakistani backing will be highly counter productive and suicidal for the Chinese economy.

Mr. Peddu you are absolutely right there are anti nationals in India and i think every one knows them very well. These are the same people who collaborated with British while people were fighting for freedom of India and these are the same people who hoisted Pakistan flag in Sindagi, karnataka showing their alliance with Pakistan. Yes, we should kick out these anti nationals to Pakistan and let them enjoy there. I appreciate your ideal and sincereness mr. Peddu. We need true Indians like you. Keep it up.
