New Delhi, Oct 5 (IANS): It was a partly cloudy Wednesday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 24.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, the weather office said.
"It was a partly cloudy sky. Light rains or thunder shower are likely to occur in some areas towards the afternoon or evening," an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degree Celsius. The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 84 per cent, the weather office said.
The city received a rainfall of 2 mm on Tuesday.
Tuesday's maximum temperature settled at 35.7 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 28 degree Celsius, six notches above the season's average.
