Mangalore: Theft in Ullal - Gold, Cash Stolen

Mangalore, Dec 25: A major theft has been reported from Kumpala in Ullal police limits near here on Tuesday, December 25.

Sheikh Sirajjuddin, in his complaint lodged in Ullala Police station, stated that 29 sovereign in gold and Rs 25,000 cash was stolen in the wee hours of Tuesday.










According to reports, the thieves gained entry through the roof and ransacked the wardrobe to steal the money and gold.

The members of the family were sleeping during the theft, hence none of the family members were able to hear the thieves. The theft came to light only in the morning.

Ullal police rushed to the spot to investigate the theft with the help of sniffer dogs. Forensic experts too have arrived at the spot, Shiva Prakash, Ullal sub inspector, informed while speaking to Daijiworld.
