Dubai, Oct 9 (IANS/WAM): Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) has received the Middle East and Africa "Lessor of the Year" award at the Aviation 100 Awards ceremony in recognition of its position as a strong, ambitious and world-class aircraft-leasing company.
The awards were presented by Airline Economics during the inaugural Airline Economics Growth Frontiers Dubai conference earlier this month.
DAE Chief Executive Officer Firoz Tarapore, who has led the company's recent resurgence, was recognised for his contribution and received the "Middle East and Africa CEO of the Year" award at the same event.
The award winners were decided by an industry-wide survey sent out to a global distribution list of more than 10,000 names over a two-month period. The results are subject to strict criteria, and are determined by an extensive nomination process.
