Pranab greets Spain, Equatorial Guinea on their National Day


New Delhi, Oct 11 (IANS): President Pranab Mukherjee greeted Spain and Equatorial Guinea on their national days and exuded confidence that India's relations with both the countries would be further strengthened.

Both Spain and Equatorial Guinea celebrate their National Day on October 12. 

In his message to King Felipe VI of Spain, Mukherjee said relations between India and Spain have gained fresh momentum in recent years and even expanded to newer areas of collaboration. 

"This year marks 60 years of diplomatic relations between our two countries -- a significant landmark in our bilateral partnership. We look forward to further enhancing and strengthening our warm and friendly ties for the benefit of our two countries and our people," said Mukherjee.

In his message to Equatorial Guinea President Teodoro Obiang Nguema M'basogo, Mukherjee said: "I am confident that warm and friendly bilateral relations between our two countries will be further strengthened in the coming years to the mutual benefit of the people of our countries."
