Bantwal, Dec 28: Christmas was celebrated with fervour at Infant Jesus Church, Modankap, near here on Tuesday, December 25.
The stage programme was presided over by Fr Roque D’Sa, parish priest. Fr Arun Lobo, assistant parish priest, Reuben Frank, vice president of parish council, Francis Rodriguez, president, parish unit of Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM), were present at the dais.
Fr D’Sa conveyed the Christmas message to all and distributed the prizes to the winners of sports competitions.
Cultural and entertainment programmes were held by school students, members of various social welfare and voluntary organizations. Konkani comedy drama, ‘Militry Maam Marcel’ play script by Nellu Permannur was staged at the same occasion.
