M'luru: Tenth standard student Ananya to preside over Alvas Vidyarthisiri – 2016

Mangaluru, Oct 12: Alva's Education Foundation will be holding 'Alva's Vidyarthi Siri 2016' a literary and cultural conference on Rathnakaravarni stage, Vidyagiri on November 17. Foundation president Dr M Mohan Alva said that the tenth standard student of Belthangadi Dharmastala Manjunatheshwara English Medium School, Ananya
is selected to preside over the conference.

PUC students Manu Kashyap, Sushmitha K Rai, Arjun Shenoy, Bhoomika Vishweshwara Hegade and high school student Poornima R Jain will also be actively participating at the conference.

They were selected at the selection process held at Vidyagiri recently.

Ananya is multi-talented and has won several prizes in Tulu, Kannada and English elocution competitions and discussions. She is talented in fancy dress, Kolaata, recitation, story telling, Yakshagana, drama, drawing, Bharatanatyam etc. Her work titled 'Nitya Jeevana' has already been published.
