Kejri's planned visit to Gujarat raises political tempers

Ahmedabad, Oct 13 (PTI): The upcoming three-day visit by Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal to Gujarat has raised political tempers in the state.

Kejriwal is slated to visit Ahmedabad, Mehsana and Baroda from October 14 to 15 and Surat on October 16. The proposed plan has triggered poster wars.

This would be Kejriwal’s third visit to the state. Unlike the recent visit to Una and Rajkot in Saurashtra region to meet Dalit victims who were flogged by cow vigilantes, this visit appears to be focused more on appeasing the Patel community. Kejriwal is slated to visit Mehsana and Ahmedabad to meet family members of the youth who died during violence following Patel quota stir in the state last year.

“We welcome Kejriwal but we want to ask him some questions about his plans for Patels. We have burnt our fingers by voting for both the Congress and BJP,” Chirag Patel, convener, Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti said.

At the same time, banners under the name of an unknown organisation, Yuva Azadi Sangathan, came up in Ahmedabad questioning Kejriwal’s attention to Patels. “Why sudden love for Patel youth who died a year ago?” read a banner.

The BJP in the state has also sharpened its attack on Kejriwal. “Pakistani Hero is coming to Gujarat for his political benefit. Again, older issues would be raked up to harm Gujarat. But people know him well,” said Jitu Vaghani, BJP state president.

    Even i thought BJP will keep their promise but after election they ignored common people and my vote became a waste, like congress they also made false promises, doing corruption and communal politics. Now the only hope is AAP the rule of common people who are always accountable to people. ALL those who support BJP and congress will one day realise that their attitude towards AAP was wrong. The Purge in Delhi inspired all over the world. It's wave reached in Punjab, Goa, Gujarat ..and continues... Minorities and good hearted people of Gujarat will elect the real government. AAP will sweep the polls. In 2018 Karnataka elections also AAP will win as all people need good things from the government there is only one choice AAP..

    We cannot predict who will win next election in Gujarath, But fight between AAP and BJP. Of course past many years Gujarath voted BJP because BJP was better than congress. Ultimately both BJP and Congress are same. Now they have option to elect AAP.

    One thing is very clear BJP is desperate, initially they blamed and spread-ed false news against Delhi government saying government is not fulfilling public demand. Then they started LG as proxy. They tried to spoil Mohala clinic's popularity by doing mess in MCD and tried to give wrong message to nation. Finally they thought what is the next step to gain votes so opposition also started Mohala clinic in their respective states including Gujarath.

    But AAP already started 100 clinics with free medicine and free treatment, By March end AAP government will open 1000 clinics. In other states they opened one or less than five, so that they can say they also have Mohala clinic But important is quantity and quality in service. Anyhow thanks to BJP and Congress to following AAP Model especially to Gujarath Government. Because now no Gujarath Model only Delhi Model. We need Delhi model allover the nation.

WHEN WE SEE BACK THE POLITICAL HISTORY OF OUR COUNTRY ANY PROGRESSIVE LEADERS WHO FOUGHT FOR GOOD CAUSE LIKE JAYAPRAKSH NARAYAN, INDIRA GANDHI IN TIME JANATA GOVT.     One can respond to journalist if you are clear in your mind about your aim, progress and to lead. AK Beats anyone in that. It is good for Gujarati's they can come out of BJP as they will see beaming light at the tunnel already. Expect few surgical strikes in surat.

    @JR, It is very sad to know that people like you still failed to understand the political system how it works..It is all money and mussel power with support of corporates. That is the reason only few rich people in India and others are failed in business and ultimately you and me are remained as poor. But Kejriwal is trying to change this political system by wiping out corruption and terrorism. let us take Nation first not political party.
