Doha, Oct 13: Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC) is proud to organize a career guidance workshop for students studying in classes 8 to 12 and their parents on Friday October 21 at 4.00 pm at Doha Downtown Hotel, Al Sadd.
This educational career guidance programme will be presented by a renowned educationist from Manguluru Dr Norbert Lobo, PhD, MPhil and MA in economics, masters in human resource management, associate professor and head, department of economics, St Aloysius College, (autonomous), Mangaluru.
Dr Norbert Lobo has conducted over 600 programmes on career guidance for students and parents at different educational institutions in Karnataka and Muscat, Oman as well. He has been invited to conduct this programme in Kuwait too. 69 articles on career guidance have been written and published by him and 22 radio programmes on career guidance (in Kannada, Konkani and English) have been aired. Dr Lobo has served as a career counselor for phone-in–programme on radio and local cable TV networks. This workshop is organized keeping in mind students and their parents who have a tough time in selecting career. It also enlightens them on different career opportunities available in current times and with a clear understanding and effort to show them the right path and right channels to be utilized, what type of education gives greater benefits, the scope of a particular education and so on.
It is a wonderful platform arranged for the children to decide on strategic goals for their future. With the help and guidance of renowned experts, they will emerge as successful candidates in various roles. This workshop is an innovation workshop to keep pace with the current trend and a stepping stone to children’s success.
