M'lore: Six Accused of Ransacking Salva Restaurant Arrested

Mangalore, Dec 29: Bunder police arrested six persons on Friday December 28 afternoon from the neighbourhood of Kottara in connection with the ransacking Salva Family Restaurant, located at old service bus stand in the city.

They have been produced in court.

The arrested have been identified as Yashwanth Poojary, a resident of Kodikal, Sridar Bhandary, Ganesh, Sundar Raj, Reginald D’Souza and Lathish Poojary, a resident of Kottara.  Many more are likely to be arrested in this regard.

A group of about 10 miscreants had entered the premises of Salva Restaurant on Wednesday December 26 night and ransacked furniture, damaged refrigerators, coolers and other electrical appliances.  They also wounded restaurant workers.
