Delhi minors stole bikes for joyrides, held


New Delhi, Oct 13 (IANS): Two minor boys were detained on Thursday in the national capital on charges of stealing motorcycles for joyrides and later abandoning them, police said.

The juveniles, aged around 16, were apprehended in Moti Nagar police station area of west Delhi and six stolen two-wheelers recovered at their instance. 

"During interrogation, they revealed that they stole vehicles for joyrides and later left them parked in narrow lanes. We have seized five stolen scooties and a motorcycle from them," said Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Vijay Kumar.
