Sharjah, Dec 31: A man was burned alive after losing control of his car and crashing into some cement blocks in Sharjah.
Police believe Mansour A, a 23-year-old Emirati, was speeding when his black Infiniti careered off the road as he approached a roundabout.
“The reason for the accident was the high speed which caused him to lose control,” Captain Khalid Saleh from Sharjah Police said.
He crashed into a cement block, which then sent him hurtling towards the other side of the road and when his car then hit another cement block it began to roll over. After coming to a halt the crushed car then caught light, incinerating the driver. “His body was totally burned and he was immediately transferred to Al-Qasimi Hospital,” Saleh said.
