Moodbidri, Jan 2: The popular programmes undertaken by state coalition government partnered by JDS and BJP lately are not conceived and executed by none of the governments which reined the state, in the past. Moreover, similar programmes were not undertaken in other states across the country wherein the Congress or BJP led governments reign. Hence, the Kannadigas’ ought to know that the programs like distribution of bicycles to girl students, waiver of loan for farmers and woman empowerment are the few examples to prove the successful programs undertaken by state coalition government led by JDS with BJP, said Meerajuddin Patel, state JDS president.
He was speaking during the inaugural of JDS activists meet held at Padmavati Kala Mandir, here on Wednesday, January 2, which was organized by Amarnath Shetty, ex-minister, in order to consult party activists in devising strategy for the forthcoming polls.
The state JDS spokes person YS Datta, Dakshina Kannada district president, Balaranjan Rai, local JDS leader, S Noronha, Hyder Parthipady, Aboobaker Natekel, MB Sadashiva, Gram Panchayat president, Sucharitha Shetty, member, Rajashree Hegde, youth leader, Dr Bharath Shetty, Valabra Narayan Gowda, Fredrick Pinto and local JDS Gram Panchayat, Taluk Panchayat, Zilla Panchayat members were present, on the dais.
