Dubai, Oct 26: Blends & Brews Coffee Shoppe, the city-based international brand of coffee shops under Thumbay Group’s hospitality division, opened its new
outlet on Monday October 17 at Zabeel Health Center, here.
Serving a sumptuous range of coffee, tea, signature drinks and savories and a popular range of sugar-free beverages, cakes and cookies, the latest addition is the 22nd outlet under Blends & Brews Coffee Shoppe- taking the brand closer to its target of 100 outlets in the next four years.
Thumbay Moideen, founder president of the group, said that the strategic plan of Thumbay Group includes the addition of 100 Blends & Brews outlets by 2020, and the extension of franchise offers to partners in countries including India and the MENA region. “The demand and customer base of Blends & Brews have grown considerably, and we want to make our signature coffee available to a diverse group of customers. The brand has been well received in India as well,” he added.
Commenting on the new coffee shop, Farhad C, director of the hospitality division of Thumbay Group added, “Blends and Brews presents a unique and skillfully blended range of coffee and tea as well as a variety of hot and cold beverages and short-eats. The new outlet will also offer our range of sugar-free delicacies.”
Owned by Thumbay Group, Blends & Brews Coffee Shoppe has multiple outlets in Dubai, Sharjah, Fujairah and Ajman, in addition to the recently opened outlet in Hyderabad, India. The firm has won many awards and recognition for its signature beverages-incuding national and international competitions. Some of the awards include the ‘Best Signature Drink of the Year-2006’ award at the first UAE Barista Championship held at Dubai Trade Center in association with DSS Summer Fiesta and Illy Caffé, the 'Platinum Award' at the Indian Barista Championship for the year 2007 organized by the Specialty Coffee Association of India and the Coffee Board of India. Blends & Brews Coffee Shoppe’s Barista represented the brand at the World Barista Championship in Tokyo, Japan in July 2007.
