Kejriwal pays tribute to Saradar Patel on his birth anniversary


New Delhi, Oct 31 (IANS): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday paid tribute to Saradar Vallabhbhai Patel on his birth anniversary and said that the country will remain ever obliged to him.

"Sardar Patel ki janma tithi par unhe shat shat naman. Desh unka sada rini rahega.
(Tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his birth anniversary. Nation will remain ever obliged to him)," Kejriwal tweeted.

Vallabhbhai Patel was born on October 31, 1875 in Nadiad, a small village in Gujarat. He was conferred with Bharat Ratna in 1991 for his service to the nation. He was popularly known as the 'Iron man' of India.
