Heerenveen hold Dutch league leaders Feyenoord

Rotterdam (The Netherlands), Oct 31 (IANS): After their 1-1 draw against Ajax last week, Dutch League leaders Feyenoord have dropped more points, conceding a 2-2 home draw against sc Heerenveen.

Iranian international Reza Ghoochannejhad gave the visitors the lead in the fifth minute on a cross by Arber Zeneli here on Sunday, reports Xinhua.

After Feyenoord striker Nicolai Jorgensen equalized, Feyenoord got the chance to take the lead when Jerry St. Juste fouled Bilal Basacikoglu and the home-team received a penalty.

Feyenoord captain Dirk Kuyt took the penalty and saw his effort saved by Heerenveen goalkeeper Erwin Mulder. During the rebound, Rick Karsdorp scored for the home team.

After half-time, Feyenoord failed to secure the victory and Heerenveen forward Zeneli earned the visiting team from the province of Friesland a point.
