Mangaluru: Motor bikes collide - rider loses life

Mangaluru, Nov 4: After two motor bikes got involved with collision near Mukka on national highway 66 on Thursday November 3, one of the riders died. The deceased was Mayyaddi (34),  nephew of J M Ibrahim from Jalligudde.

As per reports, Mayyaddi was riding his motorbike towards Mangaluru from the direction of Haleangady. When he was moving through Mukka Junction, another motorbike recklessly driven by a person named Prashant came from behind at high speed and hit him. Both the riders fell to the road with their vehicles.

Mayyaddi, who suffered grave injuries to his head, was provided first aid at Srinivas Hospital at Mukka before being admitted into A J Hospital here. He failed to respond to treatments and breathed his last in some time.

Prashant was also injured in the accident. He is being treated at Srinivasa Hospital at Mukka. A case of this accident stands filed in the city (north) traffic police station.
