Udupi, Jan 7: The recently formed Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), which replaced Common Entrance Test (CET) cell, has invited applications for admissions to medical, dental and engineering courses for the year 2008.
Students can obtain the application forms from their respective colleges, while non-Karnataka students and NRIs should send a DD of Rs 650 and Rs 3000 respectively to KEA at Sampige Road, Bangalore-560 012 to get the forms.
The DD should be payable at Bangalore. The last date for obtaining the applications is Friday January 18.
The fees under government quota has been fixed at Rs 35,000 per year for medicine, Rs 25,000 per year for dentistry and Rs 28,000 per year for engineering.
The KEA examinations will be held on April 19, with physics and chemistry during the morning session and mathematics and biology during the afternoon session.
