Unwell Sonia skips Congress meet


New Delhi, Nov 7 (IANS): Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Monday reported unwell ahead of the party's working committee meet that she was scheduled to chair, party spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said.

Congress sources said Sonia Gandhi complained of a bad throat. The Working Committee (CWC) meet will now be presided by her son and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi.

The CWC is expected to discuss organisational polls and strategy for the upcoming winter session of Parliament besides party's preparations for the upcoming assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Goa, Uttarakhand and Manipur.

    I really wonder why they are killing Congress. There are capable Congressmen who can lead and re-build the ruined party. Do they understand ?
