Beltangady, Nov 9: In an incident which came to light on Tuesday November 8, a youth from Ujire is learnt to have raped a minor girl.
The victim in this case belongs to Malavantige village. This minor girl was raped by Ibrahim, residing at Halepete, Ujire, as per the complaint lodged with the police.
The girl was subjected to medical examination. Accused Ibrahim has been taken into custody by the local police and questioned. A case stands registered about the incident, and investigation is progressing.
